The Bunker Blind from Drake Waterfowl erases everything you know about layout ground blinds and changes the game forever. The Bunker Blind is the strongest, most durable, and most concealed ground blind to ever hit the field. The frame is constructed of 1" aluminum square tubing designed to handle weight and hard hunting abuse. You will never have to worry about bending or damaging your ground blind by bracing on the sides to get in and out, or stepping on the frame to avoid disrupting your brush work. The frame also adjusts for height to provide the perfect positioning for hunters of all sizes. One of the most unique features is the No-Shadow Skirting System. We believe the key to camouflage is to break up the silhouette of the shape in which it is trying to contain. Breaking up your silhouette is pretty easy in the woods, but extremely difficult in an open field. In a field, a silhouette is created by the hard edges and vertical height of most ground blinds. Our No-Shadow Skirting System virtually eliminates hard edges by creating a spherical shape and low angles to distribute sunlight evenly. When set up and brushed in the field, the Bunker Blind has the appearance of a small mound, making it virtually invisible to ducks and geese scanning for potential danger on the ground. You might think a blind this durable, rugged, and stealthy would be heavy and bulky, but the Bunker Blind weighs ONLY 20 POUNDS and sets up and takes down in seconds. We were careful not to trade portability for strength in designing the Bunker Blind. The blind folds up within itself and has a heavy-duty shoulder strap for packing in and out of the field.
